The Centre for Health Evidence (CHE) at the University of Alberta designs, develops,
distributes and supports all VIVI (VIVIGATE, VIVIWEB, VIVIDESK) technologies, with all associated intellectual property rights held at the University of Alberta.
Many VIVI functions are subject to open-source licenses which can be obtained through the Centre for Health Evidence.
Honed over a decade of front-line
experience in complex health care
environments, VIVI systems comply with
standards for security, client-side integration, and
networking protocols. With comprehensive user and administrator
documentation, VIVI systems work with Linux, Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
The CHE supports VIVI systems and services for health care
practice, education and research, specializing in
decision-support and evidence-based practice. CHE and
partner organizations develop plug-in modules and templates that
extend the functionality of VIVI systems for
other domains and applications.
